Dental caries are getting deeper faster in primary teeth. A cavity that is considered early may have reached the nerve tissue. In those cases unless there is an infection amputation treatment is preferred to root canal treatment.

In this treatment, the nerves in the root are remaining untouched but the nerves and decay on the crown are removed.

Special medicines are applied and finished like an ordinary filling. This is applied mostly in primary molar teeth that are close to fall out.
